5 stars for the calamari, 3 stars for the halibut fish and chips*
The calamari here is amazing. It's thick and lightly battered, seasoned nicely. It comes with jalapeños that complement the rest of the fried goodness.
Came back on a Saturday around 1pm and they ran out of calamari... how??! So that was very disappointing. We opted for the fish and chips. The halibut was very over cooked, so the cod was better. The chips that come with the calamari basket are also crispier cause they don't have the weight of fried fish on top of them. -

Its good. When they are not out of several items.
Staff doesn't understand food queue management.
Disorganized guest experience in ordering.
No sense if urgency in preparing food. Never seen someone diddle daddle so much to open a bag of frozen fries..... with a line building.
Poor guest acknowledgement and attentiveness in needs after order picked up. Wasn't my situation. But what was observed.
When your the only fish n chip gig, no competition - you don't have to strive for excellence.
But it is good food. -

The fish looks better than it tastes. I gave three stars because the blackberry basil lemonade is refreshing and the fries were cooked perfectly.
The halibut fish however wasn't as good. The fish is either fried too quickly or has the wrong batter because to me, it tasted like a pancake and wasn't crispy at all. -

If you want a quick bite or grab and go, it is not a bad place. It serves mainly fish and chips but also have popular fish taco. The food is ok. Don't expect to have same quality as Ivan's.

I really wanted an ice cream cone and despite there being no line or wait, I waited 15 mins and had to remind the employee working that I was waiting on a soft serve cone.
The cone was pathetic and the employees weren't friendly. Also, clean your counters and prep table if you're going to have your employees cooking in front of customers. I'll probably never be back because you guys fell short on a soft serve cone, which is like the easiest thing on the menu to make. Disappointing!
